History
Built in 1860 by Rolla Doolittle, this two-story brick home reflects the Federal Italianate style. Situated on a double gated lot just steps from downtown, the Doolittle House boasts original clay corbels, a rare feature among Madison homes. Current owners, Glen and Lori Schulte, consider themselves “stewards” of the home and are committed to preserving it for future generations.
